Speed, Clarity, and Control: A Faster Way to Book with ORX Travel

Browse all articles

Booking travel shouldn’t feel like waiting on a slow system to catch up.

For travel managers, agencies, and corporate teams, time spent waiting on search results or scrolling volumes of results adds up quickly. It slows down decision-making and impacts service levels. That’s the focus behind our latest product updates.

Building Toward a Better Booking Experience

At ORX Travel, we’ve been updating the booking experience with a simple principle:
give users faster access to better information, with less friction.

These updates are part of a broader shift toward:

  • Real-time responsiveness across all inventory types
  • Cleaner, more efficient interfaces for high-volume workflows
  • Better visibility and control for both agents and travellers

This isn’t a one-off release, we are working hard, building the next chapter of ORX.

Streaming Search Results

On our white label product, users initiate a search and wait for all the search results to load. Behind the scenes, multiple suppliers return results at different speeds, but nothing is shown until everything is ready.

What’s new

Search results now stream in dynamically as they’re returned from airline, hotel, and car rental partners.

  • Results begin appearing immediately
  • Listings continue populating in real time
  • Sorting updates dynamically as new options arrive

Why it matters

This fundamentally changes how quickly users can act.

  • Faster decision-making: Start evaluating options instantly instead of waiting for a full page load
  • Reduced friction: No more stalled searches or timeout errors
  • Better coverage: Large result sets are handled smoothly without performance trade-offs

In practice, this means less waiting and more booking.

Updated Navigation Design

What’s new

We’ve redesigned the navigation to be leaner and more functional:

  • Reduced vertical height
  • Removed redundant elements
  • Added a currency and region indicator chip

Why it matters

Small UI changes can have a big operational impact.

  • More space for results: Less navigation, more inventory visible immediately
  • Faster orientation: Users can quickly confirm currency and region context
  • Cleaner workflows: Reduced visual noise helps users focus on booking tasks

Improved Search Results Design

What’s new

We’ve improved the search results layout to improve information density and visibility:

  • More results shown above the fold
  • More relevant details surfaced upfront
  • New loading states with animations

Why it matters

This directly impacts productivity and booking speed.

  • Less scrolling: Users see more options immediately
  • Higher efficiency: Fewer clicks to reach a decision

For high-volume users, these seconds saved per search add up quickly.

What’s Coming Next

These updates are part of a larger redesign effort across the ORX Travel platform.

We’re continuing to focus on:

  • Updating the user interface across the white label product
  • Faster performance across all booking flows
  • Smarter filtering and sorting capabilities
  • More control over how content is displayed and prioritized
  • and much more!

The goal is simple: help you move faster without losing control.

A Better Way to Book

More improvements are on the way.
